The opportunity
Our client, a renowned fine jewelry maison, is looking for a VIP Client Concierge for its Madison Avenue flagship. As the first person every client meets, you set the tone for the visit.
You welcome each guest, discreetly learn what they're looking for, and guide them to the right sales specialist or department. On a busy afternoon that might mean recognizing a returning client before she reaches the door, settling a couple who came in for an engagement ring, and keeping the welcome area calm while every advisor is with a client. We are looking for someone with a polished presence, quick judgment and two or more years in luxury front of house — a boutique, a five-star hotel or a fine-dining room — who would like to grow into a Client Advisor role inside a jewelry house.
What you will be responsible for
- Welcome every client at arrival with warmth and discretion, in line with the maison's standards
- Discreetly learn the purpose of each visit (purchase, gift, bridal, high jewelry, after-sales) and introduce the client to the right sales specialist or department
- Recognize VIP and returning clients and alert their Client Advisor right away
- Manage the boutique's appointment schedule and client flow, especially during busy periods and events
- Offer hospitality while clients wait (refreshments, seating) and keep the welcome area immaculate
- Share the maison's heritage and collections with clients waiting to be seen
- Log client details and visit notes in the CRM so the sales team can follow up
- Support private appointments, launches and boutique events
What we are looking for
- Two or more years in a luxury front-of-house role: boutique host, ambassador, or 5-star hotel or fine-dining reception
- Polished presence, strong judgment, and the ability to read clients quickly and discreetly
- Calm under pressure when the boutique is busy
- Excellent spoken English; a second language (French, Mandarin, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese) is a strong plus
- Comfortable using a CRM and appointment tools
- Interest in fine jewelry and craftsmanship (product training provided)
- Available to work weekends, holidays and events
What the opportunity offers
- $55,000–$65,000 base salary, plus bonus eligibility
- Benefits package
- Training from the maison and room to grow into a Client Advisor role
- A front-row seat at a fine jewelry flagship on Madison Avenue
