The opportunity

We are representing a recognized Swiss watchmaking maison as it consolidates its UAE boutique network under a single retail leadership mandate — flagship doors at The Dubai Mall's Fashion Avenue alongside additional boutiques across the emirate. The house is looking for a Retail Director to own the region's boutique performance end to end.

This is a multi-boutique leadership mandate, not a single-store post. You will carry the P&L across every UAE door, set the standard for boutique managers who each run their own team, and be the person the Swiss head office calls when a flagship needs a decision made fast. The clientele spans serious collectors and first-time buyers in the same afternoon, and the standard does not vary by door.

What you will be responsible for

• Own boutique performance and P&L across the UAE network
• Lead and develop a team of boutique managers, each responsible for their own floor
• Set VIP clienteling standards for a collector base that expects to be known by name
• Manage inventory allocation, waitlists and high-value stock security across doors
• Represent the maison with mall landlords, the regional distributor and the Swiss head office
• Drive launches, collector events and boutique openings across the network

What we are looking for

• 8+ years in luxury watch or fine jewelry retail leadership
• Multi-door or regional management experience, ideally with a Swiss maison
• Comfortable owning a full P&L across several locations at once
• Credible with both collectors and a Swiss head office
• Fluent English required; Arabic and a second European language a strong advantage
