A high-end beauty, skincare and fragrance house, part of a major international group

The opportunity

Today we are bringing to market a Business Manager role with a high-end beauty, skincare and fragrance house — part of a major international group — covering its Caribbean territory from a Miami base. The house is already well established in travel retail across the region. This mandate sits on the domestic-market side: the local department stores, perfumeries, independent retailers and in-market distributors where the brand meets the resident shopper rather than the traveller. It is a growing part of the business and, until now, one that has been run at arm's length.

This is a territory job, not a desk job. You will own the Caribbean domestic market end to end: which accounts carry which lines, what they buy each season, how the product is presented once it lands, and whether it sells through. Expect to be on a plane most weeks — San Juan, Santo Domingo, Aruba, Curaçao, St. Maarten, Nassau — sitting with owners and buyers who run their businesses personally and decide in the room. Between trips you are in Miami, building the forecast, arguing for stock, and answering for the numbers. We are looking for five or more years in wholesale, distribution, or regional account management in prestige beauty, skincare or fragrance, with real Caribbean or Latin American market exposure and fluent Spanish. It suits someone equally comfortable renegotiating terms with a family-owned perfumery and defending a P&L to a head office.

What you will be responsible for

  • Own the Caribbean domestic market P&L — sell-in, sell-out, margin and forecast accuracy
  • Manage and grow relationships with local department stores, perfumeries, independent retailers and in-market distributors
  • Negotiate annual terms, trade investment and counter space with account owners and buyers
  • Build the seasonal assortment and launch plan market by market, and defend stock allocation with head office
  • Travel the territory regularly — store visits, buyer meetings, launches and trade activations
  • Set and hold brand presentation standards in doors you do not directly control
  • Recruit, train and support in-market beauty advisors and third-party field teams
  • Report performance by account and by line, with a clear view of what is working and what is not

What we are looking for

  • Five or more years in wholesale, distribution or regional account management, ideally in prestige beauty, skincare or fragrance
  • Direct experience in Caribbean and/or Latin American markets — you know how these accounts actually buy
  • Commercially sharp: comfortable owning a number, not simply servicing accounts
  • Fluent Spanish and English required; French or Dutch a real advantage across the territory
  • Willing to travel roughly half the month across the territory
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Miami

What the opportunity offers

  • $95,000–$120,000 base salary, plus performance bonus
  • A territory to own outright, with the autonomy that comes with distance from head office
  • A domestic-market mandate inside a house with real international group backing
  • Miami base with frequent regional travel, and standard U.S. benefits
